Proof, not promises.
We photograph what we find and what we fixed. Partly so you can see where your money went โ and partly because it keeps us honest when nobody's watching.

Your exhaust lives under the car, which is exactly why it gets neglected until it's loud. This is what a failed system looks like, and what replaces it.
Section repair, in one picture
Bright new pipe welded straight into a system that had rusted out around it. The dealer price for this is a complete assembly. We replaced the failed section.
What Ontario winters do
Road salt from November to April, freeze-thaw trapping brine in every seam, short trips that never get it hot enough to dry out. This is the result.
Fabricated here, not ordered in
Bent, cut and welded on site. That's the whole reason we can repair a section instead of selling you the assembly around it.
Finished and hung properly
New hangers, correct clearances, nothing resting on a heat shield. The part you'll never look at, done as though you would.
These are all real jobs from the Malcolm Rd shop. Matched before-and-after pairs of the same vehicle get added here as work comes through โ we photograph every repair anyway.
Four photos would finish this off
Everything above is real work from the Malcolm Rd shop. These are the gaps โ none of them need a professional, a phone in good light will do.
| Shot | Why it matters | How to take it |
|---|---|---|
| Shop exterior | Highest priority. It's the homepage hero and the single most valuable image on a Google Business Profile โ people need to recognise the building as they pull up | Across the road, bay doors open, signage readable. Late afternoon light. Landscape |
| Pete at work | A working portrait to sit alongside the family photo โ welding helmet up, mid-job | Natural light from the open bay door, no flash. Portrait orientation |
| The full team | "One set of hands" is the pitch; if there are others, customers should see them | Everyone in front of the open bay doors. Landscape |
| Matched before / after | The most persuasive thing this trade can show โ same car, same angle, rust then stainless | Take the "before" before you start. Same spot, same phone, same height |
- Shoot in landscape for gallery tiles, portrait for the hero and owner shots
- Wipe the lens first โ shop phones are always covered in something
- Compress to WebP under ~200 KB before uploading; the current photos are already WebP
- Every image on this site carries descriptive alt text โ keep that up, it's both an accessibility requirement and a ranking signal
- Aim for 100+ photos on the Google Business Profile over time; profiles with high photo counts get substantially more calls
